As a video editor since the late 1970s (geez I’m old), I’ve seen all the amazing technical marvels in the way machines and then computers handled video. Now, I can edit at home in my slippers and upload it to the internet without having to head to the post office with multiple hard copies of whatever I produced. As a teacher and media educator, I’ve been lucky enough to experience the triumphs and difficulties of the Adobe Creative Suite as I taught it to hundreds of students. Adobe CS5 is a marvel.
I would highly recommend the entire CS5 Master Collection so you have all the Adobe tools at your disposal.
